Spring field science in the Elwha River Valley:
A Weekend Workshop for Washington Teachers
March 15th and 16th, 2008*
During our Olympic WEST series at Olympic Park Institute (OPI) teachers study field science and inquiry-based learning methods that they can bring back to their classrooms and neighborhoods. Participants stay at OPI's campus on beautiful Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park and dine in the historic Rosemary Inn.
Enjoy the quiet beauty of spring in Olympic National Park while learning techniques for inquiry-based learning that can be applied to your classroom. This weekend workshop will be a hands-on and minds-on experience in the Elwha River Valley. Be one of the first to hear about the latest results and research coming out of this historic dam removal effort. Learn how to inspire students while also meeting key curriculum needs.
